Tomb of Tihocan
Items: 26
Secrets:
Kills: 17
Tomb of Tihocan is quite a small level, and the objective is quite straightforward. The only problem you may have is dealing with one of the nastier bad guys, but we won't talk about that here.
Dry Ground
That's what you need in order to throw sliding switches. Always remember, sliding switches means you need dry ground, and levers means you need lots of water.
Ups and Downs
Life has many of those, huh? That passage below the high ledge is definitely out of reach, but what about the passage above the ledge?
The Current
Situation
Lara isn't able or willing to swim down the long dark tunnel for some reason. Besides even if she could swim down that tunnel, she'd drown long before she got to the other side. There's way to travel down that tunnel in a flash.
A New Perspective
You're faced with a decision, two passages at the top of this room, one's got a swinging blade in front of it, and the other's got Pierre inside it. Not much if a choice, eh? You know the drill and try both and find two dead ends that are just different views of the same room. Well, if you're standing at the top of the passage on the right, then you must not have noticed the crevice below you and to the right.
Just Hanging Around
Perhaps, you've found the doorway above the spiked pit, that clearly can't be accessed, except by grabbing the crevice on the left and shimmying up to the left, but you're wondering perhaps why Lara can't shimmy past the crevice to the place where, clearly she should be able to pull up? Well, the reason is that the door is closed, and for some reason Lara can't shimmy in front of the door while its closed. [A bug!] How, then does one open the door? Look around. It's nearby.
Writing on
the Floor
Clearly you can see the writing on the... uh... floor! And conveniently nearby is a block for you to push around. You can figure out the rest. Just remember: Rats and gorillas can't climb onto blocks.
Anybody Home?
So you've found the tomb entrance and you're wondering how to get inside. Getting the door open involves two steps, and neither of which is near the tomb entrance, so start searching!
Art Imitates Life
So much so, in fact, that one of these sculptures appears to be moving! Remember Qualopec's tomb? Tihocan got a clue and hired tougher tomb guardians! Keep moving and keep shooting!
