Return to Egypt
Items: 53
Secrets:
Kills: 41
Welcome back to the city of Khamoon. Apparently someone's done some redecorating around here, because most of the city is now underwater. Don't get too comfortable, because the similarities with Khamoon end after the second room. Enjoy your Return to Egypt.
Sights to See
The city of Khamoon has changed a lot since your last visit. Some things never change however. There's still lots of sand, plenty of Egyptian hieroglyphics on the walls, and beautiful bas relief carvings on the walls. The sphinx should be a familiar sight as well.

However, the city is very different. Apparently the seasonal rains and flooding changes the geography of the city quite dramatically, revealing new doorways and passages and areas that were otherwise hidden from you.

The cat statues are particularly stunning. Perhaps you didn't pay such close attention the first time through, or maybe they just needed a little washing off. Either way, along with statues, you will find lots of other beautiful artifacts dedicated to the cat, which the former inhabitants of Khamoon obviously worshiped.
Local Fauna
Two creatures you will find lots of here in Egypt: crocodiles and panthers. Not all the panthers are... shall we say?... natural? What we mean is that, some panthers are your run of the mill panthers, while some times you will come across cat statues that "come to life" as these sort of mystical panthers. They're just as dangerous and just as much trouble to deal with, but they have the added bonus of being a big surprise when you get too close. Oh, did we mention that there are also panther mummies too?
Hidden Treasures
Three secrets can be had here. The first will require a few steps. The second is a matter of a deadly detour. The third is hard to get, but with a little thought, it definitely can be reached.
Hazards
The sheer number of creatures will probably be your biggest concern here in Egypt. But tack on several deadly traps, and you've got yourself a challenge. Just watch your step and take a good look around before proceeding and you should be alright.
