Palace Midas
Items: 23
Secrets:
Kills: 43
From the glory of Rome and Greece, to art and structures formerly thought only to exist on the island of Crete off the coast of Greece.
Sights to See
Welcome to Palace Midas. Why a king, who can turn anything into gold would want his palace to be built completely underground, accessible only via an underwater tunnel is beyond me.

Nonetheless, you will be able to explore the splendor of this underground palace. Besides the unusual architecture, you will find an aqueduct, a garden, and more.

For fun, you can try any of the local recreational activities, such as torch jumping and gorilla shoots, but be sure to pack an extra canteen and lots of shotgun shells.

Better bone up on your Greek too, because in order to get into the local hot spots you will need to know your upsilons from your omegas.
Local Fauna
Midas must have had a fondness for animals, because you will find lots of gorillas, crocodiles, lions, and bats.
Souvenirs
Not as if you didn't have enough baggage to carry around, you will want to pick up three lead bars from various rooms in the palace. Why anyone would want lead bars is beyond us.
Hidden Treasures
Well, all the secrets are hidden in plain sight. Look around, and you're sure to find them. It is probable, that one will give you significant trouble.
Hazards
Much like the Colosseum your first and for most worry is getting jumped by a savage beast. (No, Pierre is not on this level!) Other than the local wildlife, there are lots of opportunities to fall to your death, set ablaze, or be impaled by spikes.
